Company overview

Greenway Dumpsters is one of the longest-running active client relationships in the Code With Power portfolio. The company operates in the Indianapolis market — one of the most active and competitive dumpster-rental landscapes in the Midwest — and serves a large portion of the Indianapolis metro through 40+ individual service-area locations. What started as a website-development project has, over years, become a continuous digital partnership covering everything that touches the brand's online presence.

Industry challenges

The dumpster-rental category looks simple from the outside and is brutal from the inside. Customer intent is overwhelmingly local and overwhelmingly urgent — someone needs a roll-off this weekend, they search on a phone, they decide in less than two minutes. Winning that customer means ranking in the right city's map pack, loading fast, displaying clear size-and-pricing information, and making the phone call (or quote request) frictionless. None of that is unique to Indianapolis, but the volume, the number of competitors, and the speed at which the review landscape moves in the Indy metro raises the bar on every input. A site that's templated, slow, or vague gets filtered out before the conversation starts.

Client goals

Greenway's goals evolved alongside the company. Early on, the priority was a website that converted — clear quote paths, an honest service-area presentation, and clean technical structure. As Greenway expanded into more of the Indianapolis metro, the priority shifted to maintaining ranking discipline across an increasingly large service-area footprint without diluting the brand. More recently, the focus has been on protecting visibility in a market with a more active review landscape, more local competition, and tighter SERPs than the early years.

Services provided

Code With Power has handled the website development end-to-end, taken on full hosting responsibility, run the SEO program continuously, contributed to content development, advised on PPC strategy at various points across the relationship, and supported branding refinements as the company has evolved. PPC management itself has shifted at different points; SEO, hosting and the website have been continuous.

Website & technology approach

The Greenway site is built on a foundation that's been refined repeatedly — not rebuilt every two years, but evolved continuously, which is what long-term SEO and stable customer experience actually require. Service-area pages are built per market, each genuinely localized rather than spun from a template. Hosting, caching, image optimization and Core Web Vitals are managed inside the same care-plan structure as the rest of our long-term clients. The technology stack is deliberately boring — boring is what doesn't break at 4:30 PM on a Friday when the phone is ringing.

SEO & marketing strategy

The SEO program has been about discipline more than novelty. Service-area pages built for each Indianapolis-metro suburb the company covers, GBP optimization across the markets where the company has a verifiable presence, on-page work tuned for the local dumpster-rental query patterns, and content development that supports the kinds of searches actual customers make. The PPC conversation has shifted over time — sometimes managed in-house at Greenway, sometimes advised on by us — but the SEO foundation has been the constant.

Ongoing support & management

The Greenway relationship is not a website project that ended. The site is on continuous monthly care, hosting is monitored, SEO is reported on monthly, and every meaningful change to the company (new service area, new service type, branding update) flows through our team. That continuity is the work — and it's why the site continues to perform in a market where most competitors rebuild and start from scratch every couple of years.

Project highlights

The most meaningful project highlight is also the simplest one: the relationship is measured in years, not project cycles. The site has expanded to support 40+ service areas without losing the brand voice or the technical performance that earned the ranking in the first place. The partnership has weathered Google algorithm changes, market entry by new competitors, and the steady evolution of customer expectations on mobile.

Long-term relationship notes

The Greenway engagement is the case study we point to when prospects ask what it actually looks like to work with Code With Power over the long haul. Most agencies optimize for project-revenue and rebuild-cycles. We optimize for relationships that survive the project's first anniversary, second, fifth. Greenway is the proof of concept.
